According to the Library's notes, Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev of the USSR banged on the table during the 902nd meeting of the General Assembly on 12 October 1960: meeting record: A/PV.902.

The meeting record does not mention the incident. Among other statements he made during this meeting, Mr. Khrushchev raised a point of order from his seat in the General Assembly Hall during the statement of the representative of the Philippines. Mr. Khrushchev was not at the podium at the time of the alleged incident.
