Documents with symbols beginning with ST/SGB/--, ST/AI/-- and  ST/IC/-- are collectively called "administrative issuances". These may be issued on a wide variety of topics.

  • ST/SGB: Secretary-General's Bulletin
  • ST/AI: Administrative Instruction
  • ST/IC: Information Circular

ST/SGB/2009/4 sets out the purpose of and type of information contained in Secretary-General's Bulletins and Administrative Instructions.

ST/SGB/1997/2 provides an overview of the purpose and information found in Information Circulars.

Organizational Nomenclature is detailed in document A/C.5/32/17.

An Index to administrative issuances is issued annually, listing those in force at the beginning of the year by symbol and subject (e.g. ST/IC/2017/1).

Please check with the issuing office for the latest updates.
