The United Nations Audiovisual Library launched a new website in January 2015 with both current and historic film and audio files. Its mission is "to provide access to and preserve the audiovisual archives from over 70 years of the history of the Organization".

The site includes audio and video recordings of daily meetings and events coverage including press conferences, stakeouts and other events happening  in New York or around the world. This website also offers selected historic audio, film or video recordings from a wide range of media from the UN audiovisual collection.

In addition, the Audiovisual Library provides services to broadcasters and independent producers working for broadcast companies or networks, including the provision of raw footage of worldwide UN activities. Please contact the Audiovisual Library for further information.
