How can I access my EBSCO and Proquest saved searches and results from outside of UN Headquarters?

UN Secretariat Staff in New York can access the subscription databases ProQuest and EBSCO from outside the UN Headquarters campus.

Follow these steps:

  1. Request remote access ID by following the link below. That ID will give you access to the databases outside UN Headquarters, but you still need to create your own profile.
  2. Once you have the database open, set up a personal account, see below . You only need to do this one time for each database.
  3. Once you have your personal EBSCO or Proquest account, you can save your searches, results, alerts, etc.
  4. After that, search results may be consulted anywhere: simply login to the database using your Remote ID and after that access your personal account to retrieve the results.

Follow the instructions attached below to create accounts in the databases.
