Where can I find statements made by General Assembly Presidents?

Statements made before the General Assembly are included in meeting records. They are retrievable through the UNBISnet - Index to speeches. If the name is unknown, search the Country/Organization field for "General Assembly" AND President, along with the session of interest.

"General Assembly" AND President AND 65th

Speeches at non-UN forums are contained in press releases. These are accessible through the Meetings Coverage & Press Releases website (coverage: October 1995-). Prior to the 52nd session (which began in September 1997), the general series GA/- included the statements made by Presidents; after that time period, they are contained in a special series, GA/SM/-.
