Employees of the permanent missions, UN staff, interns and consultants may borrow up to 10 items. Circulating items can be checked out for 28 days. If you need additional time, you may call or stop by to renew your item(s).

Some material may have shorter loan periods or may not be borrowed at all. However, clients are permitted to make photocopies of:

  • UN documents;
  • Reference material;
  • League of Nations & Woodrow Wilson Collection material.

Anyone with a valid UN pass (including NGO and media) can consult books, journals, official documents or any other material in the Library premises.

Only staff of the Secretariat and Permanent Missions can request material by interlibrary loan.
